Organization

CEDSI has a Board of 8 Trustees, Directors, International Advisory Board and Management Team and a strong pool of volunteers to carry out its various quantitative activities. They are worthy professionals who have dedicated themselves to the services of developing humanity.

CEDSI belongs to numerous local and international networks towards the achievement of its goal and as a strong believer in the immense strength of partnership. Example of networks include: Global Action Networks San Francisco, NETAID international, Rivers State Consultative Forum funded by SPDC, Niger Delta NGOs network, Network for Sustainable Development (NESDEV, funded by the World Bank,) Kenya AIDS consultative forum, Idealist international amongst numerous others.

CEDSI's Representative's at the UNFPA funded HIV/AIDS counseling workshop in collaboration with the River State Ministry of Health.CEDSI is a member of the "HIV/AIDS COUNSELLING NETWORK" in River State. 29th April - 3rd May 2002

Funding for most of the CEDSI programs has been generated in house and mostly with shoestring budgets. This has been the major challenge. While we intensely hope to extend our services we are greatly limited by inadequate funds. As a charitable organization, we would solicit for more contribution from individuals, Donor Organizations, Corporate bodies etc. this will go a long way towards assisting us achieve our vision. In addition, CEDSI hopes to also develop various self- help initiatives for sustenance.
