Our Mission

CEDSI’s ultimate goal is to eradicate poverty and improve sustainable livelihood through the application of integrated and innovative approaches in trainings, service delivery and researches geared towards: Increasing food production, reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS, promoting economic empowerment through skills acquisition and above all, building a peaceful and enabling environment for sustainable development among rural dwellers in the Niger Delta region.

Our Vision

CEDSI’s vision is to become the foremost and vibrant development organization successful in improving the quality of life of the Niger Delta rural dwellers so that they can become productive partners in development.

CEDSI’s activities include:

Research and documentation: Would be used to strengthen democratic values, improve government policies as well as to be developed as information resource for interested agencies.

Public education and advocacy: Convening meetings, carrying out campaigns, organizing training workshops, seminar and conferences, drawing on benefit from documented projects and on research.

Networking and collaboration: Especially with organization who share a common goal is our co-operate focus.

Services: Skills Trainings: Creating massive awareness on HIV/AIDS, Agricultural extension services, Adolescent reproductive health e.t.c.

Our Future Activities

With availability of funds, CEDSI hopes to build on the success of its current programs so as to meet the needs of its project targets while also researching into other areas of development.
